Two weeks went by fast for Hope and her other friends.
They all mostly talked of what they were going to do to Guardian, how they were going to get him in the end. Hope had to end his life, others knew that but Hope's hands were still clean on this one.
Forgo the warrior god had came to visit them few days at a time. He helped them get plans to invade the keep of Hollow where he was still holding some of the humans there that were made into creatures by Hollow's own madness experiments. The god told of the plans that the other gods and goddesses had for them, the plans that they at least wanted to share with Hope and her friends.
The spring slowly was made into the summer air, warm and the snow was gone by now. It was the few first days of summer when Hope and the others really got into the plans, putting them together from their ideas. Everyone helped in their own parts that they could do.
Even sometimes, Miroslav, the guard that had escorted Hope, Must and Forgo to the kingdom had spent his fair amount of time. Being young as Miroslav was, the young man had the battle skills of an older one.
Today, Hope was sitting on her bed, looking out of the open window that let a cool breeze into her room. The young guardian's eyes watered, she could already see the violence in the battle that was coming for her and her friends.
"What if I fail?" Hope asked outloud. She looked into the clear blue skies, there was no white cloud there. Her blue eyes tried search an answer for herself but none came to her mind or eyes. "What if I do fail and I'm dying in front of Guardian... what will I do?"
"Firstly, you have to stop saying that," Must's voice came from the opened doorway. Hope turned her head to see the black werewolf walking over to her and then sitting down next to her gathering her to his own arms. "For the second one, you won't fail because I'll make sure of it."
"What you doing here? I thought that you were making the final plans with Forgo and the others. Sneaky, walking into my room like that." Hope said amused.
"Sneaky you say?" Must thought of it for a while till he grinned to himself. "What, you should have heard me coming here or are you becoming so deaf of the world around you that you won't even hear an easy thing like that?"
The blue haired girl shrugged happily, she put her arm around Must's waist. Must did the same thing fondly to Hope, his blue wise eyes cared over Hope.
"I'm scared." She gulped in fear.
Stroking Hope's blue hair, Must hushed her trying to calm her worrying mind. The two sat there, next to each other looking out of the window fearing for what was to come towards them. Back of Hope's mind, the terrible images came to her thoughts of the days that she had fought for her life to surive on her own.
"I know you are." Must said gently, he knew how scared she really was. "Don't worry, I'll be with you till the end of time. No one will ever seperate us, you know that, don't you?"
Hope nodded but didn't speak.
"You do know that everyone that has died will look after you, they won't stop guarding you after their death. Everyone looks after us, they are here right now even perhaps." Must said calmly. "Nothing will harm you as long as I'll be next to you."
"I know that, Must. I just can't image myself fighting Guardian at all. The last time, I failed completely. Kno saved me, he saved me and I failed to save him... I am not fit enough to be a guardian anymore. I always fail anyways."
"You don't fail, at all. You only think that you fail just because of your past." Must drew Hope closer, the black werewolf took Hope's small hands into his claws. "Don't let the past let you go down again. Think of the present and of your duty as a guardian."
Hope nodded, she looked down at her hands in Must's black furred claws. She knew where Must was coming from... somewhat at least she finally said to herself.
"I know that but what if I just fail and then... Nevermind, there will be people who will go after Guardian after I'm gone from this world to The Dark-"
"No don't talk like that-"
"No, let me talk like that, Musty." Hope grinned to herself. "If I die on the process of trying to get rid of Guardian and Hollow you must promise me that you will try to find another person who will go after those two. Just please, do it for me. Just please do it for Saga. Guardians will end sooner, I see no reason to see into it anymore. One day soon, guardians will be history."
"But Hope, I can't do that... Please don't talk like that." Must begged of Hope, hugging her tightly. The black werewolf put his muzzle on her neck and breathed out softly to Hope. "I'll fill your wantings but you will have to make a promise to me then."
"Huh? Yeah, what is the promise, old man?" Hope asked, she liked using the term 'old man' due to their old friendship that had been going on for over two years already. But in truth, Must was only twice Hope's age. Both of them liked the term, in humourous ways at least.
"Well, you have to promise me that you will at least try to defeat them and not just go there and let them kill you. Alright? Got that? Yes, I thought so by now. Let's go see the others, shall we? Forgo is back, he has the final plans to tell us. You know that only few people are going with us, your sister is one of them and then there are those who really want to be part of it like that one guard but under Reika's rule, he can't do it."
Must kept Hope close to his side as the two stood up from the bed. Hope's blue eyes gazed outside of the window with a small smile on her face as she saw few clouds travel by. The white puffy looking clouds floated by the kingdom's tower slowly. Few birds swiftly flew past the window making chirps.
"Do you think that we will ever have peace again?" Hope asked, looking up at the blue-eyed werewolf. She took his hand and the two walked out of the door of Hope's room from the tower to the downstairs.
At the last step, Must stopped on his tracks.
"Yes, I do think one day... when I will finally grow a white beard to my feet, we will have some peace." Must laughed playfully, his eyes watered slightly rimming his eyes with tears of joy. "Until that day, you and I will be younger than that time."
Both of the guardians laughed, then both of them walked on to their destination.
'-chances with the guards of the king-" Was the first thing that Must and Hope heard as they walked through the doors of the dining hall. The speaker was Forgo. He was just going over his plans of going into the kingdom. When he saw Hope and Must, the warrior god stopped and smiled at the two who joined the others who were part of these plans including Princess Reika and few of her own people there.
"Nice of the two of you finally come to us," Forgo said to the two guardians sitting next to each other. Must's ears went back as he got the gaze of the god in his own eyes.
"We are here now, would you mind starting over?" Hope asked, she was sitting next to Must and Hari on a long wooden bench used for larger meals in the kingdom.
The worn out god took a deep breath, as he did the black beard shook. His eyes had the look of the ancients watching over the world of Saga till their last breaths as gods and goddesses. When a god or goddess got too old or just died off, a new god will be taking its place. The job as a god doesn't run down to family members but is quite different. A new god is placed when one is found and then they are told of their new job and then they are given the extra lifes of the god.
Hope had heard of it all, she finally looked into the eyes of his soul. The time was running out for Forgo's time, maybe few more good months? No... less, came to her mind that fast in seconds. She could see the grey and white parts of his real god's form already showing through the younger part of him.
As Forgo was about to open his mouth but as he was, a silvery portal came part of the room. The silver portal was made bigger with swirls of darker silver within it. Two grey looking paws stepped out of the portal in a flash, then the whole other part of the body came aswell. It was Silver, Hope's otherself from the other dimension.
The grey-silvery wolf stood looking around himself. The blue wings flapped beautifully on his sturdy shoulders, feathers blanketed the ground. On Silver's forehead was the blue crensent between his eyes and just above them.
A flashing of fangs showed in a smile at the others as the other guardian looked past himself at the surroundings who were near him.
"Sorry to intrude into your lifes again but this is very very important, Hope, there you are... for a while I didn't see you due to your human form but I got you now." Silver said calmly. "I haven't forgotten about you all at all. Oh no, no."
Hope's eyes stared at Silver like he wasn't there at all, she couldn't say anything but to think of him as herself.
"Silver..." Hope gasped finally. "What do you want now? I have the crystal if you want it now or is it-"
"Hush, I'm not here for the crystal but for your own mind. I have been thinking of you these past days in my own Saga. Alpha has asked me to ask you about something of my uncle. Your other uncle in this world... well aunt wouldn't it be?" Silver asked smiling but then stopped as he drew his paws closer to his own silver tail. "Alpha has asked me to ask you if you are ready to kill a person."
The look on Hope's face told all that Silver needed to know for that very moment before she really answered his question. Hope tilted her head slightly, very slightly and thought of it.
"I- I don't know... if I have to but I have never had to kill anyone really important... the only thing that I think I have killed really is a Myrbeast but that's all, I don't have a really good memory at things like these. I'd say yes, if I really have to. Does this involve Hollow or just anyone else who gets into my way?" Hope asked the silver wolf with the blue wings on his back.
Shaking his large head, Silver walked a bit closer to the rest of them.
"No, it just doesn't involve just Hollow himself but the others who work for him. I'm his nephew, I can still remember all of his little followers." Shivering at the thought of the dark creatures of Hollow's who worked for him and were not made by himself, Silver's eyes grew darkers that his usual bright eyes that looked up into the skies to match it. "The followers are full of bloodthirst in themselves, you wouldn't want to meet them in a dark lonely alley anywhere. I repeat, anywhere."
"How many does he have then?" Hari asked suddenly as Hope got the same question in her own head.
Silver looked at Hari, his eyes returned to normal shining like the summer skies.
"He was four, two has been killed but he has four left. Four that are a lot better than those who died. I don't have time to tell you how they look like but you will get a real sense of danger when you meet one. The feeling of death and the smell of blood will be filling you until you die on their own claws. Yes they are creatures that walk on four legs but one has other human personalities to its body." Silver said as his hackles rose few inches.
"Alpha has asked me to ask you of this too this will be the last question for a year or two since I won't be able to come back here till I have figured few things in my own dimension first." Explained Silver. "The last question that he has for you, Hope Wolf what is in your soul? Why is it that you want Hollow gone from Saga that badly?" As he asked the questions, he gave the expression that he didn't really want to ask these questions for a good reason, he already knew parts of them but Alpha didn't, Silver's Earth god like Susi was to Hope.
"He has made my whole life different. Just his one thing, just what he has to done to others. I could have been turned into a creature just like those others who were made in his little kingdom. I could have been one of those brainless beasts." Hope's voice was full of grief, the feeling of remorse of others feeling the pain of the beasts within themselves. "I will make sure that he will be paying for his fun little things himself and not others!" Her chest began to rise and fall faster, wanting it all go past herself.
Silver nodded.
"Alright, good luck with your plans now, Hope." Silver said more happily. "Let the gods and the goddesses be with you now, don't forget to believe into yourself from now on. These parts of the times of war are most important to others aswell. Shine on with the courage that you get from Kno. Until then Hope, we will see each other another day from today."
Hope nodded. Then, Silver backed into the portal leaving his head last to take few more looks around himself from the other dimension that he wasn't that familiar with yet as Hope was now after all she has been here for about two years now. It didn't seem to be that longtime ago when she has arrived here.
The silver portal zoomed out of the dimension to return back to its own Saga.
"Well, now I think I can finally start over again since you are here and Silver is gone." Forgo mumbled loudly to himself and the others but more to be as a laugh which it did work. The tension of the war was risen for the Saga Kingdom into the heavens where it will lay there till the final battle begins again with Guardian. "The plans are really simple. We go there to look if there are guards which I think there are since we have been there before. Skes and those other skeleton minions of Guardian. One good thing for us is we know that they are waiting for us. Guardian knows that we know where the kingdom is at now, no escape-"
"If it is a trap, then why are we even going now and not until the autumn again? He won't expect it then." Hazuki cut in smiling at the god with her row of white teeth in her mouth. "He knows so what good does that do?"
Forgo glared right at Hazuki who didn't even look away but smiled with Lepa on her lap while Chibi was sitting few feet away from the two looking up at Forgo with her two different colored eyes.
"That is why we are on two different groups. Hope and Must will be one while I'll be with you, Reika and Morningblaze going into the kingdom. Must will take good care of Hope, I'm sure of it." Forgo said gently this time, not wanting to get pumped up just yet but later.
"I want to come too," Hari piped up rising from her place to her feet, she looked at the god. "I want to come, my brother is there still. He must be in pain... I... I need to see him if he is alright. Valko is the only family I really have left that has my own blood in his aswell, please."
The god's glance at Hope meant that she was the one to choose the life of Hari. If she came, it would be harder to fight with her around but with that amount of courage, you couldn't just turn it down in seconds but deep thoughts. And, you couldn't ignore it. Hope and Must would have to protect her aswell.
Protecting Hari will be difficult, but not impossible.
"You may come too, Hari." Hope finally said to the younger girl than herself. Finally with that, Hari sat right back down smiling happily to herself for getting herself ask even but it worked out good.
"Thank you, Hopea." Hari cheered for Hope once and then stopped as everyone had their eyes on her.
"Right, now where was I... Oh yeah. Reika, you will go on your own, no guards are to be there or Hollow will target the kingdoms next. Guardian will be finished sooner or later in these two days, even if the battle lasts that long. The two groups have to try to find Guardian and get him out of power." Forgo explained briefly, looking around at the nodding heads, the god put his hand on the hilt of the sword. "Good, now let's move out into the chambers where we all will get the weapons that are perfect for slaying a dragon, a big dragon if he decides to come to his real form other than his usual human looking dragon thing that he really isn't."
Forgo then only smiled really as he thought of getting rid of the evil in the Saga for now. Next target for them all would be Hollow but not today or tomorrow but in weeks and months to come.
Hope rose from her chair with the others, her gaze was set on the spot where Silver's portal had been sometime ago. The feeling of something good was coming towards Hope, she felt her heart warm than rest of her body. The feeling was familiar but she couldn't tell what it was. Only thing that Hope knew, she had felt it before.
"Hope! You lazy girl, come here to the weapon chamber! Or we will just leave you be here and then you will be so mad that you will not forget yourself!" Called out Must in the doorway of the dining room of Saga Kingdom, next to him was Hari waving at Hope to come over to them.
Laughing at herself, Hope advanced to her friends with her blue hair flowing freely around her.

I don't know what part Silver plays in all of this yet. I did notice that the romance is blossoming between Vaulko and Hope!
